Acne & milk


If you are milk, cheese, ice cream, or any other type of milk, eat, and you have acne, this blog post can be the whole week, the most important thing you read.

In fact - and I'm not exaggerating here - the removal of milk and dairy products from your diet is probably the absolute, honest to goodness most effective thing you can do to clear up your skin.
"Wait a minute!" You may ask. If no milk and other dairy products are good for the body, so important vitamins and minerals and calcium? Even the government recommends that we consume low-fat dairy products on a daily basis, right?

Well, without getting into the politics of the powerful dairy lobby and the origin of government nutrition recommendations, the reality of processed milk and milk products is more harm than good to your body in general. And this is especially true for your skin.

Why milk bath for your acne?
Milk causes acne, because ...

With an abundance of a hormone called IGF-1 in milk, which is very good for babies Maybe, but not for you. IGF-1 is a growth hormone. It can make baby grow up big and strong, but in the people, it tends to grow your acne instead. IGF-1 is one of several factors that cause inflammation in humans, and eventually lead to acne (and unsightly redness and swelling, which makes acne so annoying).

Milk and milk products cause an insulin spike people cause the liver to produce more IGF-1, leading to more acne.

Dairy causes your skin excess sebum (oil), which leads to produce - you guessed it! - More clogged pores, acne more, and a breeding ground for bacteria P. acnes, sebum and feed your spew inflammatory byproducts.

Dairy glue together dead skin cells in the pores so they appear not, of course, leading to clogged pores (and thus more acne). milk and acne, the effects are well documented in the literature. In the last ten years or so, a number of studies have found a strong link between milk consumption and increased acne found. For example, one such study found that teenage boys who drank milk more frequently broke out, and more seriously than those who do not drink milk.  At least five other studies have confirmed that, in general, the more milk you drink, the more severe the acne that you get.

So what should you do to get a clearer skin?

The answer is simple: cut dairy from your diet. These include milk, cheese, kefir, yogurt, ice cream and much more. If it has milk in it, probably give you acne.

Okay, I know this is not easy if you are dairy products and foods, dairy products (including eg pizza, or my favorite childhood love, toasted sesame bagels with cream cheese) especially. It's hard, I know! I have not eaten much milk in the last 8 years because it makes me break out like there's no tomorrow. I miss them, but I like how I look way better with clear skin.

The thing is, if you want clear skin, a dairy section of the most powerful things you can do. I'm not saying it's a good idea to go cold turkey on all dairy products. Try this: gradually cut milk and dairy products for several weeks, and keep it dairy-free diet for at least 90 days to see if it makes a difference to your skin. I am confident it will, and you are the improvements so much that you never want to eat dairy products love! (In fact, it is likely that you will start to see improvement in a week or less! Usually when I break out some milk and eat my skin clears again about a week after I stopped eating dairy products milk.)

Example plans

Start with breakfast. I cut dairy from your morning routine, and eat bacon and eggs instead, or any other such as are not dairy products. Do that for a week. The following week, cut dairy from your lunch break as well. The third week, do dinner. This is a great way to ease into things. Go cold turkey on dairy products can be hard, as it is so dang delicious! (Dairy is also physically addictive as opioid peptides containing mimic the effect of opium. )

There are little tidbits if you really can not live without dairy products: You can eat butter and ghee (clarified butter used in Indian cooking). Although both come from milk, they are usually made only from milk fat. Most IGF-1, hormones and other substances to promote acne cream to filter discussed above, butter and ghee butter making process. You can safely without worrying about aggravating your acne to consume.

How about Raw Milk?

Raw milk, yogurt, kefir raw, etc. are easier to digest than processed their share, and some people suffer from acne happily consume raw milk without problems. If you want to try raw dairy products, I recommend you try to see it on your diet gradually, whether your body can handle without outbreaks (go do it after 90 days, dairy-free, and if your acne situation well controlled).
